How far back does watch history go?
Watchly stores watch history for as long as the account is active. You can scroll back to day one, every play, every session, every search. No 30-day rolling window that hides the pattern you're looking for.
Can I tell who watched what when kids share a tablet?
Yes. Every log line is attributed to the specific child profile that played the video. The 6-year-old's Bluey binge and the 9-year-old's Minecraft sprees stay separate, even on one device.
Does Watchly track anything outside the Watchly player?
No. We don't track anything your kid does outside Watchly, not browser history, not other apps, not YouTube in a separate tab. Only videos played inside the Watchly player get logged.
What does 'engagement' actually mean in the dashboard?
Engagement means signals that tell you if the video actually landed: did your kid finish it or bail at minute two, how many times did they rewind, what was the last position. A two-minute watch on a ten-minute video is a very different data point than a full watch.
Can I export watch history?
Yes. Export any kid's history as a CSV from the dashboard. Useful for pediatrician conversations, school check-ins, or just keeping your own records outside Watchly.
